Fine metallic fibres are worked throughout the warm taupe-grey yarn, creating a subtle shimmer that becomes more visible as the light changes rather than appearing heavily glittered.

The pictured top is crocheted from Ören Bayan Star Lurex yarn, composed of 94% acrylic and 6% metallic fibre. Its acrylic base keeps the garment relatively light and soft, while the metallic detail gives the neutral colour a refined glow.
