Handmade Tunisian Crochet Heart Blanket | Multicolour Bed Throw

This large handmade Tunisian crochet blanket was created in Türkiye over approximately four to five months. Its graphic surface is formed from twenty-eight individually worked panels, arranged in a 4 × 7 layout and joined by hand using traditional crochet.

Bold turquoise and pink colour blocks are softened by cream joining lines and a wide striped border. The clear geometry gives the blanket a contemporary presence, while small embroidered hearts introduce a more playful and personal detail.

Twenty-seven panels carry one small heart, while one panel holds two. Each of the twenty-nine hearts was added individually by hand with a needle and placed without a strict repeating order, allowing them to appear like quiet discoveries across the surface.

The surrounding border was crocheted separately using a traditional crochet hook, framing the Tunisian crochet panels and completing the generous rectangular form. Expressive in colour but carefully balanced in construction, this piece reflects the more graphic and unexpected side of the GOGOLI EDIT collection.

Every GOGOLI piece begins and continues in our hands. Small variations in panel dimensions, Tunisian crochet tension, joining points, embroidered heart placement, border alignment, texture and finished measurements are part of the handmade process rather than imperfections.

Because all twenty-eight panels were worked individually and joined by hand, subtle differences may remain visible across the surface. These quiet variations preserve the human rhythm behind the piece and ensure that it cannot be repeated in exactly the same way.

The hearts were embroidered one by one and were not arranged as a perfectly uniform pattern. Their irregular placement is an intentional part of the design, giving the blanket its playful and individual character.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions and individual screen settings.

Made slowly over several months, this blanket is ready to be used, lived with and kept. Now it is waiting to find its way to a home where its story can continue.
