This large handmade chevron crochet blanket was created in Türkiye over approximately eight months. Warm shades of orange, coral, red, pink, burgundy and gold move across its surface in continuous zigzag rows, giving the blanket a rich yet harmonious presence.

The colour transitions come naturally from the Alize Batik yarn itself. Rather than being planned as separate blocks, each shade appears gradually as the yarn unfolds, allowing every row to become part of a continuous and unrepeatable colour story.

Soft rather than rigid, the crochet fabric has a fluid drape that settles naturally over the surface beneath it. It follows the contours of a bed, sofa or chair with ease, then gently returns to its own form when lifted. Small tassels placed intermittently along one chevron edge add movement and a quiet finishing detail.

Its generous scale, flowing texture and uninterrupted pattern reflect the time given to its making. It was never rushed; row by row, the blanket was allowed to take shape in its own rhythm.

HANDMADE CHARACTER

Every GOGOLI piece begins and continues in our hands. Slight variations in crochet tension, chevron alignment, edge shape, tassel placement, texture and finished measurements are part of the handmade process rather than imperfections.

Because the colour sequence comes directly from the Batik yarn, the length and placement of each shade developed naturally as the blanket was made. This gives the surface its own rhythm and ensures that its colour progression cannot be repeated in exactly the same way.

The soft crochet structure allows the blanket to settle comfortably over different surfaces while retaining its shape. Its measurements may shift slightly depending on how it is laid, folded or handled.
