Designed as an easy layering piece with a quietly expressive surface, this handmade openwork crochet vest is individually crafted in Türkiye and belongs to the GOGOLI SIGNATURE collection.

The design brings together a clean, open-front silhouette with alternating rows of decorative crochet work. More open sections create lightness across the surface, while denser textured bands give the garment definition and allow the pattern to remain visible when worn over both light and contrasting colours.

Three ready-to-ship versions are currently available. Each follows the same crochet design, while its colour, yarn character and finished measurements vary. These differences give every version its own surface, drape and individual presence.

AVAILABLE VERSIONS

Cream — Size 1

Worked in Alize Angora Gold Simli, shade 67, composed of 75% acrylic, 20% wool and 5% metallic fibre. This version has a soft, gently warm handle with a delicate shimmer that appears subtly as the light moves across the crochet surface.

Yellow — Size 1

Worked in a strong and durable 100% acrylic yarn selected for its clear stitch definition and structured finish. The yarn gives the decorative crochet pattern a more defined appearance while preserving the lightness of the openwork construction.

Light Pink — Size 2

Worked in the same durable 100% acrylic yarn as the yellow version. This piece follows the same design with additional body width and length, creating a longer silhouette with a slightly narrower shoulder line.

Each version is available as one individual ready-to-ship piece.

DESIGN

The vest is shaped from two front panels and a full back panel, brought together by hand to create a clean and balanced open-front form.

Its V-shaped front opening creates a natural vertical line through the body, while the sleeveless construction makes it easy to layer over shirts, blouses, dresses or simple tops. The combination of open and denser crochet sections gives the surface a varied rhythm without overwhelming the simplicity of the silhouette.

Although the three available pieces share the same design, the different yarns naturally influence the finished character of each one. The cream version feels softer and more gently luminous, while the yellow and light pink versions have a clearer, more structured stitch definition.

The Size 1 guide applies to the Cream and Yellow versions.

• Front neckline length: approximately 23 cm
• Shoulder to armhole: approximately 19 cm
• Armhole extension toward the body: approximately 4 cm
• Underarm to hem: approximately 42 cm
• Hem width of each front panel: approximately 28 cm

SIZE 2 MEASUREMENTS

The Size 2 guide applies to the Light Pink version.

Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.

• Back width, armhole to armhole: approximately 51 cm
• Back hem width: approximately 50 cm
• Back shoulder width: approximately 42 cm
• Back neck width: approximately 14 cm
• Back neck depth: approximately 1.5 cm
• Front shoulder width: approximately 15 cm on each side
• Front neckline length: approximately 23 cm
• Shoulder to armhole: approximately 19 cm

The Size 1 and Size 2 names identify these specific handmade proportions rather than standardised clothing sizes. Please compare the measurements with a similar open-front vest you already own before selecting your version.

COLOUR, YARN & SIZE REQUESTS

This design may also be considered for custom production in another colour, yarn finish or with adjusted measurements.

Custom production depends on suitable yarn availability and the current capacity of the GOGOLI studio. A different yarn may naturally change the fibre composition, texture, weight, drape, colour appearance and finished measurements of the piece.

HANDMADE CHARACTER

Every GOGOLI piece is made individually by hand. Slight variations in crochet tension, stitch spacing, pattern alignment, panel dimensions, joining points, edge shape and finished measurements are natural characteristics of the handmade process.

Because the available versions are worked in different yarns, their surface, softness and drape are not expected to be identical. These distinctions are part of the individual character of each finished piece.

The appearance of the colours and the subtle shimmer of the cream version may vary slightly depending on lighting conditions and individual screen settings.

Made slowly, stitch by stitch, each version is ready to find its own place in your wardrobe and continue its story with you.
